Kristkindl Markt at the Hofgarten and Festhalle

Come join us for the 8th annual Kristkindl Markt sponsored by the
Hermann Farm and Museum funded by the Dierberg Educational Foundation.
Every year there's something new to see.   This year meet the Giggleswick Sisters
who craft penny wooden dolls, "antique" Christening Gowns, and the old German
peasant painting of Bauernmalerei.      Featured local artist Donna McEachen will
display her folk art at the front fireplace from a life size Weihnachtenfestman
to folky feather trees and papier mache snowmen.     New artists and gift
items for the 2009 Kristkindl Markt will include etched glass candle holders
and home made candies.

The Festhalle will be decorated in full holiday splendor for the Christmas season and
visitors can sip on Gluhwein in souvenir Kristkindl mugs and visit booths selling European
baked delights.    Traditional German holiday decorations will be displayed throughout the
Festhalle and Hofgarten.
