At the Hofgarten

Our open air courtyard with breathtaking views is the perfect choice for any event. The Hofgarten was designed to accommodate premier music and arts festivals, artisan demonstrations and other programs celebrating the unique spirit and German heritage of the historic Hermann area.

Two “German-stable” inspired pavilions define the interior courtyard, much like a European public square, and feature ornamental paving and a French limestone fountain. Ceremonial iron gates with brick piers and topped with decorative deer enclose the Hofgarten and enhance the park-like setting. 

The pavilions feature old-world brick, stone and timber detailing, copper roofs, and hand-crafted wrought iron lighting. The Hofgarten also features the latest addition to Hermann’s distinctive skyline, an eighteen foot tall half-timbered centerpiece cupola.

Guests of the Hofgarten will also enjoy the view of scenic Frene Creek, historic stone farm houses, hillside vineyards, and all of the natural beauty and charm of Historic Hermann.
